I also don't think of it really in the religious afterlife context of the deceased, but the lives of those who have to go on after them. Death is a very difficult thing, even for those who we have watched slip away slowly.<br /><br />I can tell you that it does get easier to handle over time. It never stops hurting, though. You adjust to the feeling.<br /><br />I took strange steps in dealing after Brannon's death, but after three and a half years, I still get sad about it. I still miss him. I think that the pain we go through is a testament to the impact that person had on us, and it doesn't have to be necessarily negative like some people make it out to be.<br /><br />I'm not religious in any shape or form either, and I find the whole thing pretty ridiculous - but I do believe in an afterlife of sorts. There is clearly something that makes us different from the other creatures on the planet, and that "something" is what guarantees us another plane of existance. Can I explain it to you? Nope. Do I think that any religious group has it down? Probably not. I think it's only something we will learn after we're gone, but there is definitely a reward for the good people and a punishment for the truly evil.Lucihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06048361411203558568noreply@blogger.com
